Adamyk, Turnbull Invited to Canada West Selection Camp

Congratulations to Kings goaltender Mitch Adamyk and forward Carter Turnbull who have been selected to attend Team Canada West’s selection camp in Calgary from December 2nd to 5th. They are two of 28 BCHL players to make the selection camp roster, made up of players from the BCHL, AJHL, SJHL and MJHL.

Adamyk has had a stellar start to his 2nd season in the BCHL. Adamyk is 6th in goals against average (2.34) and save percentage (.921), while being 5th in wins. Meanwhile Turnbull will return to familiar surroundings after winning Gold with Canada West at the 2015 event in Coburg and Whitby, Ontario (with former King Kyle Betts).

Both players will leave the Kings ahead of camp in early December, and should they make the tournament roster, they will remain away from the team until after the Christmas break.

Congratulations and best of luck to both Mitch and Carter on this achievement.
