The Powell River Kings are very happy to announce a new broadcast partnership for the 2015/2016 season with Vista Radio’s 95.7 CoastFM in Powell River. The agreement means all 58 regular season games will be broadcast live on 95.7 FM in the Powell River listing area, as well as online via the Kings Broadcast Network.
“We’re happy about getting back on the radio full-time with 95.7 Coast FM” says Kings Head Coach and GM Kent Lewis. “It’s good news for our fans who want to follow the team when we’re on the road, and it also means fans can tune into the pre-game show on their way to the rink and the post-game show as the head home.”
Kings Play-by-play Announcer Alex Rawnsley will be at the helm for his 5th season with the team. Broadcasts will commence 20 minutes prior to each game with the Pre-Game Show featuring coaches interviews, news and a preview of the action ahead, followed by play-by-play of every shot, every hit, every goal this season. Immediately after the game, the Post Game Show will recap the action, feature player and coaches interviews and tee up the games ahead.
