The Powell River Kings Hockey Club have a close relationship with the local Minor Hockey Association. The biggest joint effort is the Summer Hockey School which takes place in August & the Kings Academys in the fall. The Kings coaching staff and players help at these schools and try and give back to the system as well as associate themselves in the community. The Kings are proud to donate towards the PRMHA Raffle, and the Awards Night.
