Congratulations go to Carter Turnbull and Mitch Adamyk on being selected to represent Team Canada West at the World Junior A Challenge in Truro, Nova Scotia between December 10th and 16th. Both were part of the 60-man Selection Camp roster that competed in Calgary over the last week.
This will be the third consecutive year for Turnbull on Canada West. Turnbull won Gold with Kyle Betts in 2015, before missing out on medals in 2016. Mitch Adamyk makes his first trip to the tournament.
Turnbull and Adamyk will miss the remaining Kings games leading up to the Christmas break and are expected to return to Powell River with the rest of the team in preparation for the December 29th game vs Nanaimo.
