Kings sign 6’3″ forward Jace Harder

The Kings are excited to reveal 2006 born forward Jace Harder as the latest addition to next year’s team.

The 16 year old comes from the Rink Hockey Academy in Kelowna where he spent the past two seasons. This year he scored 16 times and added 14 assists in 31 CSSHL games. “I am super pumped to be a part of the Kings organization and Powell River Community” says Harder ” I would like to thank Chad and the coaching staff for giving me the opportunity to grow as a player and a person next season. I am very grateful for the opportunity to play here and I’m looking forward to my future in Powell River.”

The Lake Country B.C. product stands at six feet three inches tall and will add some much needed size to the Kings forward group. With his ability to also put up points Harder is exactly the type of player G.M. Chad van Diemen wants to add to the team. “Jace is a big body who skates well, plays a heavy game and can produce offensively” says van Diemen “We wanted to add some size to our lineup and be harder to play against. He ticks both of those boxes and we feel he will develop into a very strong forward in the BCHL as he gains experience.”
