BCHL Release 2018/19 Schedule

The BCHL has officially released the 2018/2019 schedule for all 17 teams.

The Kings 30th anniversary season officially kicks off at home on September 8th when the Victoria Grizzlies visit the Hap Parker Arena. The night will see the Kings raise their Island Division Championship banner, a banner they won at the expense of the Grizzlies in last year’s playoffs.

Other big nights on the calendar include the Kings visiting Prince George on October 11th, in a rematch of last year’s BCHL Semi-Final series that saw the Spruce Kings advance in 5 games. The return leg of the Battle Royale will be in Powell River on November 16th. The defending National Champion Chilliwack Chiefs visit the following night, November 17th, while the defending BCHL Champion Wenatchee Wild kick off 2019 with a January 4th game at the Hap Parker Arena.

The longest homestand for the Kings this year is 6 games from November 16 to December 1st, while the most time the team will spend away from the Hap Parker Arena is also six games which the team will do twice. First from November 2nd to 11th, then again December 8th to 30th.
