Eagles shutout Kings

After just coming up a goal short against the Eagles on Sunday the Kings would host them once more on a Monday night at the Hap.

The game would ultimately be decided in a 2 minute span in the first period where the Eagles would score 3 goals including 2 from former King Michael Abgrall who has torched the Kings with 4 goals in 3 games this season. The Eagles would add one more in the 2nd period off a deflection in front of the goal that went high into the air and landed behind Zak Brice and rolled in. That odd goal would sum up the night for the Kings as they will fall 4-0.

The Kings would fire 32 shots towards Eagles netminder Max Prazma who picked up his first shutout, while Zak Brice would settle down after a tough 1st and give his team a chance making 26 saves.

Kings record now sits at 10-17-3 and have dropped their last 5 games at the Hap going 0-3-2 in that span. Up next for the Kings is team they last beat at home in the Alberni Valley Bulldogs Friday and Saturday. Both games are at 7pm and Saturday is our Tla’amin night.
