The Kings? organization is proud to recognize alumni Reid Campbell?s recent achievement in earning a spot on the NCHA?s (Northern Collegiate Hockey Association) Rookie All-Star roster. Campbell currently attends St.Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin and is a defence men on the top-seeded Green Knights.
Campbell was a key component of the Kings? backline for four years. He joined the Kings in the 2006-2007 and grew as an individual not only the ice but in his role as a young leader in the community.
Head coach and General Manager Kent Lewis was ecstatic to hear of Campbell?s award. ?Reid had a fabulous four years here in Powell River. He was a pleasure to coach and it?s amazing to see his accomplishments. He grew into a solid defence man at our level and we?re proud to see him continue to succeed at college.?
