Karter McNarland named All-Star

The BCHL unveiled the initial rosters for the All-Star game in January and forward Karter McNarland has been selected to represent the Kings.

“It’s pretty cool obviously, but there is lots of guys on the team that could be an All-Star and it’s too bad there is only one of us going” stated McNarland. Each team had one skater selected to the event and the players were chosen based on a BCHL coaches poll. This season McNarland currently leads the team in points with 15 (4 goals & 11assists) in 18 games.

Last year McNarland was selected to play in the Top Prospects game but it was cancelled due to covid. Now that everything is good to go he is very happy to have another chance to head to Penticton.

“I guess it’s just meant to be, they want me in Penticton” jokes McNarland “I’m super happy to go, it’s gonna be a fun event, but I couldn’t done it without my teammates and coaches”

The All-Star game will take place January 21st in Penticton and will feature the 3 on 3 All-Star game, a Top Prospects game, Alumni game, and a skills competition.
