The Kings have acquired forward Duncan Thompson in a trade with the Coquitlam Express that sends future considerations the other way.

Thompson is a 19 year old forward from London Ontario and is committed to Sacred Heart University. In 6 games for the Express this season Thompson has scored once and has added 3 assists. Prior to coming to the BCHL, Thompson played 2 years at Berkshire School in Massachusetts. Last season he was the team’s captain and amassed 17 goals and 33 assists in 33 games. He also played one season at Berkshire with current Kings blueliner Conrado Calderini.

Thompson is expected to play this weekend when the Kings host the Clippers.
