The Powell River Kings are proud to announce the acquisition of 02′ defenceman Jason Marsella from the Cranbrook Bucks in exchange for future considerations.
Marsella hails from Greenwich Connecticut and is committed to play at Yale University next season.
“We are happy to add Jason to our group” says Chad Van Diemen “He is a very good defenceman who can contribute at both ends of the ice. We look forward to working with him to help him prepare to play at Yale next fall.”
Last year Jason played 12 games between regular season and playoffs for the Connecticut Jr. Rangers in the NCDC, and prior to that was a Highschool Prep player for Avon Old Farms in Connecticut and notched 16 points in 27 games.
