The Powell River Kings are looking forward to the addition of 2003 born Jacob Bonkowski to their 2020/2021 roster.
The 6’0, Richmond, BC native has spent the last season with West Vancouver Academy Midget Prep Team in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League where he produced a total of 36 points in 31 games.
“Jacob is a promising forward with a lot of upside”, says Head Coach Brock Sawyer, “He skates well and is still growing into his body. He is a tireless worker and has offensive abilities that will contribute to our program for years to come. Jacob attended campy last year and played in a handful of games this season where he performed well and got his feet wet in the league. He has a lot of potential for a young player.”
