Kings make trade with Express

The Kings have acquired forwards Carter Cochrane and Jaeger Murdock from the Coquitlam Express in exchange for the playing rights of forward Liam Tanner who’s rights were acquired in a offseason deal that saw the Kings trade the playing rights of defenseman Ben Brunette to the Penticton Vees.

Cochrane who is from Victoria is entering his final season in junior hockey and is a BCHL veteran playing in 105 games over 3 seasons with the Prince George Spruce Kings and Express where he has tallied 16 goals and 24 assists. Murdock is 18 years old and is coming into his 3rd season in the league where he has played in 67 games scoring 6 goals and collecting 9 assists between the Nanaimo Clippers and Express.

The Kings would like to welcome both Carter and Jaeger to the organization.
