POWELL RIVER, BC – The Powell River Kings announced on Wednesday the signing of 2000 born-forward Josh Kagan.
During the 2019-20 season, his first in the BCHL, Kagan split time between the Cowichan Valley Capitals, Merritt Centennials and Nanaimo Clippers. The Winnipeg, MB native amassed 43 points through 52 games played, including 25 goals.
“We are pleased to add Josh to our group. He is a proven scorer at this level who will provide depth and scoring to our forward core. We would like to welcome Josh to the Kings family,” stated head coach and director of hockey operations Brock Sawyer.
Kagan and the Kings are currently in extended training camp in advance of their exhibition game schedule, which will commence on Sunday, November 8th in Duncan against the Cowichan Valley Capitals.
