The Powell River Kings announced today the signing of forward Nathan Landriault for the 2026-27 British Columbia Hockey League season.
Landriault (2008), a 5-foot-11, 170-pound left-shot winger, from Gatineau, Quebec, and developed in the Ottawa–Orleans hockey community. The 17-year-old arrives in Powell River after two seasons in the Central Canada Hockey League, where he progressed from a championship rookie into one of the league’s more productive young forwards.
In 2025-26 with the Carleton Place Canadians, Landriault recorded 22 goals and 26 assists for 48 points in 55 games, adding three power-play goals and five game-winners while taking only 12 penalty minutes. He served as an alternate captain and produced at a point-per-game clip in the postseason (1-4–5 in five games).
The season prior, he helped the Rockland Nationals capture the 2024-25 CCHL Art Bogart Cup. As a 16-year-old, Landriault posted 4-7–11 in 36 regular-season games after being selected by Rockland in the sixth round (69th overall) of the 2024 CCHL Draft. Across two CCHL campaigns he totaled 26 goals and 33 assists for 59 points in 91 games.
Landriault’s development path also includes the Canadian International Hockey Academy (CIHA Voyageurs), Ottawa Jr. 67’s U15 AAA, and a brief appearance with the Alexandria Glens of the EOJHL. He represented Team CCHL Yzerman Young Guns at the Battle of Ontario.

A two-way winger with finishing touch and a low-penalty profile, Landriault adds proven Junior A production and championship experience to the Kings’ forward group as the club prepares for the 2026-27 season at Hap Parker Arena.
The Kings open the regular season at home Friday, September 18 against the Prince George Spruce Kings.
