Kings Sign Forward Owen Barrow

POWELL RIVER, B.C. – On Tuesday, the Powell River Kings announced the signing of forward Owen Barrow.

The 2003-born Kamloops native started the 2020-21 season in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League, appearing in two games for the Kamloops Storm and scoring a goal. Barrow spent the previous two years with the Yale Hockey Academy (CSSHL) suiting up for both their Elite 15 and Midget Prep teams.

“Owen is a physical player who plays hard at both ends of the ice and competes every shift. Past coaches we have spoken with have held him in high regard,” says general manager Chad van Diemen. “He is someone that was on our radar for next season and we are excited to add him for the remainder of this year and use this time to help him develop and become more prepared.”

Barrow will join the Kings for the remainder of the 2020-21 BCHL season, including the current Training Season.
