The Powell River Kings are pleased to announce the signing of forward Ayden Heron for the 2026-27 British Columbia Hockey League season.
Heron (2007), a 6-foot, 163-pound right-shot forward from New York City, New York, returns to the Kings after appearing in two games as an affiliate player at the end of the 2025-26 season. In those two outings he recorded one assist and two penalty minutes.
“I had a great time in Powell River when I came up at the end of last season so I am very excited to be back. I’m looking forward to getting started and being part of the team and community again,” said Heron.
The 19-year-old’s previous stint with the Kings left a positive impression, and the organization is happy to welcome him back on a full-time basis as the club continues to build its forward group for the upcoming campaign.
