The Kings are very proud to announce that forward Noah Eyre has committed to play NCAA hockey at Quinnipiac.
The 19 year old is off to a great start in his sophomore season with the Kings scoring 7 goals and adding 16 assists in 17 games. “I can’t be more excited” says Eyre “I can’t wait to go there!” His 23 points currently leads the team and at the moment is tied for the third most points in the BCHL.
Located in Hamden Connecticut, Quinnipiac is one of the premier schools in college hockey. The Bobcats have won three straight conference championships and just won their first National Championship last season. Early into this season Quinnipiac is ranked 7th in the country and Eyre can’t wait to play for a school with such a high pedigree. “They set a high bar there and I’m super excited to be a part of it in the future.” he adds “What sticks out to me is the coaching staff, the players, how they play, and their everyday attitude. I believe that it will be a great fit for me.”
Eyre will look to follow in the footsteps of former Kings blueliner Jayden Lee (2018-19) who was the last King to attend Quinnipiac. Lee was a key piece on the teams National Championship squad last season and this year in his 5th and final season, he was named team captain.
