Oswego State lands Cam Symons

After Sam Schoenfeld’s commitment to the Milwaukee School of Engineering yesterday, the Kings are very happy to announce another NCAA division III commitment as Cam Symons is off to Oswego State University.

Symons made his Junior “A” debut this past year with the Kings after spending the first portion of his junior career playing Junior “B” & “C” in Ontario. The 20 year old would make the most of his one and only opportunity becoming an offensive and physical force on the ice. “Cam is a gamer and what an addition he was to our team” said Brock Sawyer “He played very fast and heavy and was a man against boys most nights.”

Symons played in all 54 regular season games this year collecting 16 goals and 26 assists which included a hat-trick in his final regular season game. He would go on to add 3 assists in 5 playoff games against Surrey. “In talking with Oswego State assistant coach Jonny Whitelaw who I know quite well, they are ecstatic to have him there and they can’t wait to see what he can do.” adds Sawyer “He’s a great young man who contributed to the community and we are very happy that he’s going to a great spot in Oswego State.”

The Kings would like to thank Cam for everything he did with the team and wish him all the best at Oswego State.
