Powell River, BC – July 10, 2026 – The Powell River Kings are pleased to announce the signing of 16-year-old forward Jordan Tran for the upcoming BCHL season.
A native of Mesa, Arizona, Tran is a skilled offensive forward known for his playmaking ability, puckhandling, and hockey IQ. Standing 5’10” (178 cm) and weighing 165 lbs (75 kg), the left-shooting forward comes to Powell River after time with the Anaheim Jr. Ducks program and most recently the Sioux City Musketeers (USHL), where he was selected in the Phase I USHL Draft.
Tran reunites with former teammates Grady and Jackson Schaefer, who recently signed with the Kings, adding familiar chemistry to the group. An avid fisherman, Tran is excited to explore the waters around Powell River and make the most of his time on the Sunshine Coast.
We are thrilled to welcome Jordan to the Kings organization. His addition strengthens our roster with a dynamic young talent eager to compete at the junior level.
