The Powell River Kings are proud to unveil their 2019 Prospect Identification Camp, taking place April 26-28 in Powell River.

This in depth instructional identification camp is designed to give players a head start on the 2019/20 season, while also providing an opportunity for players to make the jump to Junior and the BCHL. This camp will be open to skaters and goalies born in 2001-2003.

Our annual prospect identification camps are crucial in the formation of our roster for future years. Over recent seasons, several camp attendees were either signed directly out of camp or added to the team’s affiliate list for the coming year. Players such as Christian Buono, Rowan Miller, Josh Coblenz, Matteo Paler-Chow, Gavin Rauser, Ethan Schmunk, Jack Long and many others have joined the Kings organization after competing at our annual Prospect Identification Camp.

Camp attendees receive:

  • 7 ice times per player (including 3 games, 2 team practices and 2 skill session)
  • Detailed video coaching sessions
  • Presentations on the Powell River Kings, BCHL and NCAA

Goaltenders interested in participating in camp should submit the registration package along with a playing resume. Goalies selected to attend camp will be notified two weeks prior to the date of their selected camp.

The cost for this instructional identification camp is $450 plus taxes and service fees. To register, complete the registration form at the link below, then send the complete information package via email to Brock Sawyer at brock@powellriverkings.com or fax to 604.485.7530.
