This week congratulated  graduating Kings players Jack Long, Derek Krall and Levi Glasman, thanking them for their contributions to the organization. Finally, we will thank veteran forward – Devin Leduc.

Powell River, BC – The Powell River Kings organization would like to congratulate Kings forward Devin Leduc on a great junior hockey career, and thank him for what he did for the Kings in his short time with the club.

Leduc, 20, just finished up his fourth and final year of junior hockey, playing in 172 career games split between the BCHL and KIJHL, while totaling 50 goals and 107 points during his tenure. The Barrie, ON, native was acquired by the Kings from the Langley Rivermen in exchange for Hunter McCoy at the January 10th Trade Deadline. Leduc went onto score seven goals and 14 points in 14 games with the club, helping the Kings to a 8-3-3 record during that time.

“He was awesome. I felt like he was here all year,” said Kings Assistant Coach Brock Sawyer. “Just such a bright young man. I didn’t know much about him until we got him, but then you could just tell he was such a personable individual. He was a hard worker, scored some big goals, and acquiring him at the deadline was huge for us.”

The Powell River Kings organization would like to thank Devin for his contributions to the club, and wish him nothing but the best going forward.
