The Powell River Kings congratulate loyal fan and society member Mike Gauthier in winning the grand prize Membership Canucks Prize Package. Every individual who purchased a society membership was entered into the draw at the game on November 30th. Mike Gauthier was the lucky winner to take home a pair of Canucks tickets for either this ‘potential’ season or the 2013-2014 season, travel voucher, and accommodation. A special thanks is extended to First Credit Union for donating the Canucks tickets, to First Insurance for the travel voucher, and to Powell River Cruise & Travel for supplying the accommodation.
A Membership Committee consisting of Nancy Howlin, Cindy Villani, Lisa Cimaglia, and Ron & Wendy Spreeuw have diligently been working hard to promote and sell Kings’ Membership. The entire Kings’ organization thanks them for their hard work! This year has been the most successful membership to date and it’s due to these individuals and their passion for Junior ‘A’ Hockey in Powell River that has been the catalyst for this success.
