Volunteering

Do you want to be part of the Kings game day experience? We are recruiting volunteers for many positions this season:

- Front of House (Selling tickets, programs, and merchandise)

- Security

- Ice Crew/Rink Rats (Clean up pucks after warm up, take down/set up nets during intermissions, help with intermission games)

- Camera Operators (Operate the camera's for the big screen and game broadcasts)

- DJ (No previous DJ experience required. Training will be provided)

- Online Scoring (Update the live online boxscore for the BCHL's website and operate the game clock for Flo Hockey Broadcasts)

Scheduling is very flexible. If you aren't available every home game that's ok. Volunteer when you are able.

GAME DAY HOST

Do you have tons of energy, love to be in front of a crowd, are a born performer, have some microphone skills and can lead a small team in the quest to bring excitement and fun to Hap Parker Arena?

If so, we are encouraging you to reach out to marketing@powellriverkings.com and provide us with a summary of your background and skills as they apply to the role of Game Day Host. This is a volunteer position, with some perks. You will join a growing and dynamic group that is committed to enhancing the game day experience of our fans. Working with our Director of Media and our Youth Ambassadors, you will help to energize the crowd and our players over the course of the season through engaging and fun activities. Your ideas are welcome and your passion, mandatory!

KINGS YOUTH AMBASSADORS

Are you between the age of 15 and 17, love hockey (especially the Kings), are into social media, may be focused on either communications or the field of media, have a smart phone and are handy at taking photos and posting to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.?

The Kings are looking for a couple of high-energy volunteers to join our Media team as Youth Ambassadors for the coming season. You will work with the Game Day Host and our Director of Media to create game day content, interview fans, take photos, and assist with game & intermission
games/contests. Those selected will participate in regular media team meetings (live or via Zoom/MS Teams), some community events, and be highly visible at our home games. A complementary season ticket will be provided as well as Kings apparel, and some pizza during our in-person meetings.
