Abgrall named BCHL Player of the Week Honourable Mention

Powell River, BC – Powell River Kings ’03 born forward Michael Abgrall has been named a BCHL Week 20 Player of the Week Honourable Mention.

Abgrall, 16, scored two goals and three assists for five points in two games last week, as the Kings went 2-0. The Richmond, BC native capped off a four point game with the overtime winner (6-5) on Friday against the Silverbacks, and extended his point-streak to three games with his 10th goal of the season against the Rivermen (3-0) on Sunday.

The University of Nebraska Omaha commit has 10-goals and 31-points over 48-games this season. That ranks second among BCHL ’03 born skaters, trailing Peter Reynolds of the Chilliwack Chiefs by six points. Among Kings players, he’s tied for second in points, and second in assists with 21.
