Powell River Kings grad Cohen Adair has shown he's ready for NCAA prime time already as he scored two goals for the University of Northern Michigan Wildcats in a weekend sweep of Wisconsin.
The Stratford, Ont. native's first NCAA goal was also the game-winner in the opening game, a 2-1 win for the Wildcats. Adair scored again in the following night in a 4-2 victory.
Adair was a second-team BCHL all-star last season for the Kings. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound 20-year-old notched 32 goals and 26 assists in 58 games, all career highs. He scored 102 points in 101 games for the Kings over two seasons.
