Ben Ramsey signs for 2023-24 season

The Kings are very excited to announce the signing of 2005 born defenseman Ben Ramsey 2023-24 season.

Ramsey is a 6’2″ right shot defenseman from Lake Country B.C. and is someone the team has kept a close eye on since he attend the teams spring camp last year. “Ben attended our spring camp last May and also came to our summer development camp and was very impressive.” says G.M. Chad van Diemen “He spent a week with us earlier this season and we were able to get him into a game in Salmon Arm. We have gotten to know him very well through the process and we feel he will be a great addition to our team moving forward.

The seventeen year old is currently a member of the Thompson Blazers u18 AAA team of the BCEHL where in 26 games this season he has 2 goals and 18 assists. “He has good size, moves well, and has a high hockey IQ.” adds van Diemen “With Dylan Hewlett graduating and Casey Aman going to school next fall we have a need for a right shot d-man and Ben ticks a lot of boxes for us. We are excited to have ben and his family join our organization”
