Glasman and Leduc earn final BCHL Player of the Week Honourable Mention

Powell River, BC – The BCHL announced Monday that Powell River Kings forwards Levi Glasman and Devin Leduc have been named Honourable Mentions for the Subway BCHL Player of the Week.

Glasman 20, scored two goals and three assists for five points in two games last week. The Lecombe, AB native scored the winning goal on Saturday in a multi-point effort (1G/1A), and totaled three points (1G/2A) on Friday, as the Kings defeated the Victoria Grizzlies 5-2 and 5-1 for a double-header sweep. The Colgate University commit (2020-21) finished the regular season with points in 10 of his last 13 games (7G/13A/20PTS), while leading the Kings roster in goals (22) and points (49).

Leduc, 20, also totaled two goals and three assists for five points in two games last week. The Barrie, ON native tallied two goals and an assist on Friday, and two assists on Saturday, helping the Kings capture the double-header sweep. The 6’1, 193 pound winger finished the season with 20 goals and 39 points, with seven goals and 14 points in 14 games with the Kings. He was acquired from the Langley Rivermen for Hunter McCoy on January 10th, 2020.

The Powell River Kings resume action this weekend, as they begin Round 1 of the post-season against the Cowichan Valley Capitals in Duncan, BC. Full schedule to be announced shortly.
