KBN Season 2, 2015-2016 Broadcast Information

kbn-web wide

A little over one year ago, the team launched the Kings Broadcast Network. It was, and to my knowledge still is, Junior hockey’s only live streaming online radio station of live and archived content. The project was designed to bridge a bit of a gap that was created when the team and radio partner 95.7 CoastFM parted ways at the end of the 2013/2014 season.

The Network in my opinion was a resounding success, streaming over 700,000 listener hours during the season and I’m extremely proud to announce that it’s back for a 2nd year of delivering Kings hockey to fans all around the world. Beginning September 12th, all 58 games will be available live on the Network, which you can listen to at any time by clicking here. You can listen on your computer, tablet or smartphone device.

For Season 2, we will be changing up a little bit the archived content that the team provides. The biggest benefit of the Network is the fact that it streams 24 hours a day, giving us the ability to replay games at times that are more convenient for eastern time zones, where several of the Kings players have friends and family. Beginning September 13th, the Network will replay the previous 3 Kings games in chronological order everyday from 10am EST.

The Kings will also offer some on-demand content in addition to the team’s YouTube Channel. Each player profile will be available to listen to after it airs on the broadcast, along with select features done throughout the year.
