The Powell River Kings are happy to announce the signing of 1997-born defenceman Brandon Kennedy.
Kennedy, from Delta, joins the Kings from the Western Hockey League’s Moose Jaw Warriors where he suited up in 18 games, registering two assists. Prior to the Warriors, Kennedy played a season and a half with the Lethbridge Hurricanes, scoring once and adding 3 helpers in 40 games.
Kennedy is expected in Powell River this week and is slated to make his debut on Friday in Surrey against the Eagles.
The addition of Kennedy to the Kings brings the roster to the maximum of 22 players.
