In a separate move, the Powell River Kings have traded forward Jeremey Leipsic to the Portage Terriers of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. The Winnipeg product was in his first year in the BCHL and had 5 goals and 12 assists in 34 games.

The Powell River Kings would like to thank Jeremey and Colton for their contributions to the club during their time in Powell River, and wish them well in Portage and Prince George respectively. The team would also like to welcome Adam to the Sunshine Coast. He is expected to make his debut in Surrey on Friday night as the Kings battle the Eagles.
