Kings and Grizzlies headed to game 5

Game five. Game seven. The Kings and Grizzlies season comes down to one game.

Kings were in a position to wrap it up on Tuesday but a close game was blown open in the third period as the Grizzlies opened up a five goal lead before winning 5-1.

Tight checking again in the first period and low shot count with the Grizzlies leading 5-4 in that category.

Just a single goal, a point shot that snuck through the screen and found the hole at 5:05.

Still tight into and through the second period with just another single goal on the powerplay by Leo Fitzgerald at 16:16.

His goal came after a big 5 on 3 penalty kill by the Kings for a full two minutes and then a ton of pressure by the Kings for another two minutes, but no goals.

Down 2-0 heading into the third the Grizzlies scored three straight at 1:47, 3:12 and 3:34 to put the game away.

Kings got their only goal on a point shot from Jordan Burns that went in off a Grizzly to spoil the shutout and a 5-1 final.

Both teams board the ferry in the morning (weather permitting) and decide the series at the Bear Mountain Arena on Wednesday.
