The Kings have acquired 2006 born forward Jaxon Fuder and future considerations in a trade with the Cranbrook Bucks that sees the BCHL playing rights to Noah Eyre go the other way.

The 17 year old is from Cold Lake Alberta and comes to the Kings with plenty of BCHL experience for a player of his age. Fuder made his BCHL debut 2 years ago at the age of 15 playing in two games for the Bucks, before joining them full time last season as a 16 year old. This season he has played in 15 games and has 2 goals and 3 assists. “Expect to see some speed and physicality from him in green and gold” says assistant general manager Stephan Seeger Jr. “He will add some depth to our young core of forwards and has good habits for the small details.” So far in his BCHL career, the young forward has suited up in 56 games scoring 6 times and adding 14 assists plus he played in the BCHL top prospects game last season. Prior to playing in the BCHL Fuder played at West Van Academy where he was teammates with current King Carter Lundie.

Going to Cranbrook is the BCHL playing rights to forward Noah Eyre who was in his second season with the Kings. This year he played in 25 contests and racked up 9 goals and 22 assists before joining the Sioux Falls Stampede of the USHL last week.

Fuder will make his Kings debut when they return from the holiday break with two home games against the Coquitlam Express on December 29th and 30th. Those games will also be the first home games for new Kings Rémi Gélinas and Simone Dadiè who have impressed in the 4 games they’ve played so far.
