The Kings have traded defenseman Axel Löfgren to the West Kelowna Warriors in exchange for defenseman Landen Hilditch and forward Eliot Compton.
Hilditch is from Surrey and is committed to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The 19 year old has played 109 BCHL games over 4 seasons with the Warriors and Eagles and has 26 points over that span. Hilditch is currently on the injured reserve and won’t be available to play until after Christmas.
The 17 year old Compton (pictured) is in the midst of his second BCHL season. The Victoria product has played in 72 total games and in 22 contests this season he has a goal and two assists.
Löfgren played in 20 games this season for the Kings having matching goal and assists totals at 8. We would like to thank Axel for his contributions to the team and wish him the best in West Kelowna.
