We are proud to team up with our RCMP detachment and mothers against drunk driving in support of the Red Ribbon Campaign. The Kings have donated tickets to our home games for the detachment to pass out to sober drivers passing through the checkpoints this holiday season.
The Ribbon Campaign runs from November 1st to January 3rd, red ribbons are distributed in communities across Canada to use a symbol of their commitment to always drive sober. The ribbons serve as a powerful tribute to hundreds of Canadians killed and thousands injured in crashes involving alcohol and/or drugs each year.
Red Ribbons will be available by donation at our office during our home games Friday and Saturday.
