The Powell River Kings have almost 100 former players currently plying their trade at the collegiate or pro levels. Today, we look at some of the notable stories and trends from the previous set of games, highlighting former Powell River King players.

• (December 15th) Daniel Carr records a goal and assist, while also earning second star honours in a 4-2 win for the Chicago Wolves over the Tucson Roadrunners.
• (December 15th) Michael Garteig stops 26/27 for his first career AHL win, a 5-1 win for the Toronto Marlies over the Manitoba Moose.

• (December 13th) Jamie Phillips records a 23 save shutout in a 3-0 victory for the Florida Everblades over the Greenville Swamp Rabbits.
• (December 14th) Brayden Low scores for the Reading Royals in a 5-3 victory over the Allen Americans.
• (December 14th) Luke Nogard tallies a goal and assist for the Norfolk Admirals in a 7-4 loss to the Toledo Walleye.

• (December 28th) Luke Nogard picks up a pair of assists in a 4-3 Norfolk win over the South Carolina Stingrays.
• (December 29th) Michael Garteig stops 29/32 for Newfoundland in a 4-3 shootout win over Brayden Low and Reading. Low picked up an assist in the loss.
• (December 29th) Jamie Phillips stops 24/28, including 3/3 in the shootout, as the Florida Everblades defeat the Greenville Swamp Rabbits 5-4 in a shootout.
• (December 29th) Kyle Chatham records his first professional point after recording an assist in a 3-1 win for the Atlanta Gladiators over Luke Nogard and Norfolk. Nogard scored the lone goal for the Admirals in the loss.

• (December 15th/AHA) Adam Brubacher records an assist for RIT in an 8-4 win over Brian Wilson and Niagara. Wilson stopped 30/35 in the loss.
• (December 15th) Derian Hamilton records an assist for Penn State in a 4-4 tie against Princeton.
• (December 27th) Jeff Smith stops 11/14 in relief for St. Cloud in a 6-4 exhibition loss to the U.S. Under-18 Development Team.
• (December 29th) Jarid Lukosevicius scores a pair of goals in a 4-1 Denver win over UMass-Lowell.

• (December 17th) Gavin Rauser and the BCIHL Young Stars drop a 2-0 decision to the Kazakhstan U20 National Team.
• (January 4th) Gavin Rauser records a goal and two assists for Vancouver Island University in a 9-6 win over Callum Volpe, Ben Raffler and the University of Victoria. Former affiliates Garrett Dunlop (three assists), Gage Colpron (two goals) and Kobe Oishi (two assists) also got on the scoresheet for VIU.
• (January 5th) Gavin Rauser scores a goal, plus the shootout winner, in a 5-4 VIU win over Callum Volpe and UVic. Former affiliates Kobe Oishi, Gage Colpron (one assist each) and Garrett Dunlop (goal and assist) also found the scoresheet for the Mariners.
