POWELL RIVER, B.C. – The Powell River Kings are excited to announce the commitment of 2003-born forward Aaron Neal from the Vancouver North West Hawks of the BC U18 AAA League.

Neal is the first player to commit to the Kings for the 2021-22 BCHL season. The North Vancouver native and has spent the previous two seasons with the Hawks. During the 2020-21 campaign he played in six exhibition games, scoring two goals and four assists and served as the team’s co-captain.

“We are excited to welcome Aaron and the Neal family to the Kings organization for next season,” commented general manager Chad van Diemen. “Aaron is a big player who skates well, uses his size to his advantage, and will be a tough player for opponents to play against. He is coming from a good program in the Vancouver North West Hawks. Chris Shaw and the coaching staff do a very good job in developing players and preparing them for junior hockey.”
