Kings took it to the Caps on Sunday resulting in a hard working 6-3 victory.
Drew Dorantes got them off to a scintillating start when he stole a puck on the penalty kill and raced to the Cowichan goal to score shorthanded at 6:42.
Matt Scarth, in his first game back, made it 2-0 at 9:09 on a nice deflection of Luko's shot and then Ryan Scarfo made it 3-0 at 19:11 on a nice powerplay passing play from Rideout and Dorantes.
Cowichan mustered a couple of goals in the second to close the gap to 3-2 after two periods but the Kings roared back in the third.
Dorantes made it 4-2 at 0:59 and then Luke Norgard followed Scarth in on a two on one and stuffed in a rebound at 3:33.
Caps made 5-3 on the powerplay three minutes later but Scarth put it away with a powerplay goal at 13:17 and a 6-3 final.
A complete 60 for the Kings in their second game of the weekend and a solid win for Imoo with 29 saves on 32 shots.
