Chad Niddery Commits to Sacred Heart
The Powell River Kings Junior ?A? Hockey Club is proud to announce that forward Chad Niddery (90) has committed to attend NCAA Division 1 Sacred Heart for the 2010-11 season. The Pioneers play in the Atlantic Hockey Conference.
?Chad has developed into a smart and dependable two way player who can created space and opportunities for himself and his teammates with his outstanding speed,? added Kings Head Coach and General Manager Kent Lewis. ?His ability to play in all situations will make him a valuable player for the Pioneers.?
Niddery from Penticton, B.C. is in his third season with Powell River and he currently leads the Kings with 32 assists and is tied for points with 43. Chad joins a growing list of Kings securing NCAA scholarships this season which is now at five.
