Powell River, BC – The Powell River Kings are excited to announce the signing of forward Landon Pue to the roster for the upcoming BCHL season.
Pue, an 18-year-old from Langley, British Columbia (born November 29, 2007), stands at 6’0” and weighs 185 lbs. The left-shooting forward brings valuable junior experience, having developed with the Langley Hockey Academy in the JPHL before playing last season with the Selkirk Steelers of the MJHL. In 49 regular season games with the Steelers, Pue contributed 15 goals and 17 assists for 32 points.
Kings General Manager Tyler Kuntz commented: “Landon has a year of junior hockey under his belt and we expect him to come in, earn his ice time as he always does and be a key contributor for us throughout the season.”
Pue joins the Kings as part of the exciting new era in Powell River. Known for his two-way play, work ethic, and ability to contribute offensively, he is expected to compete for a role and make an immediate impact.
