* There should be changes to the score sheet. Cohen Adair indeed scored in the second period, which was credited as Chad Niddery's second.

The Kings, with the exception of the first two and a half minutes, were in control. They dictated the flow of the game when they had to in the early going and settled in when they developed a comfortable cushion. The Kings used their speed to create chances and turnovers inside or near the PG blue-line. The determined fore-check of Powell River dogged the Spruce Kings break out from the get go.

Chad Niddery was terrific recording fourt points; it should read as two and two. Niddery, along with Cohen Adair and Andrew Pettitt, combine for nine points. Niddery's short handed goal early in the second could be called the; “TSN Turning Point”.

The defense was terrific; rebounding from an inconsistent performance one night ago. They kept the Prince George attack at bay for the most part, where they didn't, Mike Garteig was there to shut the door.

Garteig's performance is one suited for a Hollywood movie. The local player that, early in his career, could not find a BCHL to take a chance. Tonight, playing at home in front of family and friends, arguably put in his best effort of the season.

Four points from the north, now on the BC interior.
